It’s like being able to flip through the pages of a book to get a complete picture of the breast rather than looking down at the book from above, which is comparable to a traditional, 2D mammogram. These “slices” of images help our radiologists find tiny abnormalities early. Early diagnosis of breast cancer means less-invasive treatments for our patients and better long-term outcomes.
