How it works:
Step 1: Blood Draw
The Vampire Facial begins with a small amount of blood being drawn from your arm, usually about 2 teaspoons. The blood is then spun in a centrifuge to separate the platelets from the plasma.
Step 2: Microneedling
The PRP serum is applied to your face and then microneedling is performed. Microneedling is a procedure that uses tiny needles to create tiny holes in the skin. This allows the PRP serum to penetrate deeper into the skin.
When the serum is applied to your face, it stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, which are the proteins that give your skin its youthful appearance.
Step 3: Injecting
We will also inject the platelet serum into areas of deeper concern, where wrinkles are more prominent, for example, forehead lines, crows-lines, around the mouth, etc.

The number of treatments you need will depend on the severity of your skin concerns. While most patients are satisfied after one treatment some choose to build on the effect and undergo additional treatments which can be spaced out 3-6 months apart.
There is minimal downtime after a Vampire Facial. You may experience some redness and swelling, but this should go away within a few days. We suggest to limit direct sun exposure for 3 days after.
